WE SENT DADDY OFF.....

Chris just left about an hour ago to Lake Havasu for a Bachelor Party. Joel (Chris' best friend) will be getting married in Hawaii in July and they are celebrating his last days as a "single" man in Havasu. He ran out the door with a backpack, a pillow, and more bottles of sunscreen than underwear. That's a guy for ya! I would have a whole suitcase and a carry on bag!

I know they will have a great time full of boating, wakeboarding, wave runners, a little Corona and their friend Jack Daniels and lots of laughter. Most of all, I hope they create great memories.
Good Luck Guys, Have FUN.
I sent Chris off with... "Honey, have fun and lots of fun but remember some of those guys are single without kids.... you have a wife and kids... don't go jumping head first off cliffs."

Chris' response: " I won't, I always go feet first!"

UUUUUUGHHHHH... I'M NOT GOING TO THINK ABOUT IT! OUT OF SIGHT, OUT OF MIND!
WE LOVE YOU DADDY, WE'LL MISS YOU.

CALLING ALL RALPHS SHOPPERS!!!!

I am a Ralph's shopper. I really have no idea why I've chosen Ralph's over all others. One reason is it's close to the house, but there's also a Stater Bros. But, I've become devoted and don't shop anywhere else. All I know is I consider myself a smart shopper and look at the tags for the best deals. I also know that all I have to do at Ralphs is go up to the counter, hand them the card and the price goes down significantly. Also, the biggest lesson I've learned is:

Just Because something says 2 for $3.00..... DOES NOT mean that you have to buy 2 to get the $1.50 price. As long as you show your card, you get the discount on one!
The reason why I am posting this is because yesterday when I went shopping I was approached at the door by a nice man who said.. We need to get you the new Ralphs Card today. I got to choose the color of card I wanted, DUH, I chose PINK! and now my husband gets to put a Pink Ralphs Key Fob on. He's secure in his man- hood he'll be ok. But, I'm excited about this new card, you acrue points for each dollar you spend and after 500 points, you get $5 back, quarterly. I shop anyways, I might as well get something back. And, some items are double the points. SO, IF YOU ARE A RALPHS CARD, MAKE YOUR WAY OVER THERE AND TRADE IN YOUR CARD FOR SOME SAVINGS!!!

...AND ONE OF MY LATEST OBSESSIONS!!

YES! I never would have thought I would stoop to FROZEN YOGURT. For years I would give my mom the hardest time that she ate Frozen Yogurt.. I would totally bag on it and tell her it's worthless to eat that stuff because it has an after taste and its Non Fat because it tastes nasty.

Low and Behold, it's like my favorite thing right now. Every opportunity I'm grabbing a Mini cup of ice cream for $2.00 IT'S TOTALLY TASTY AND CHEAP, NOT TO MENTION.... REFRESHING with this heat we've been having and you don't have to feel guilty.

The funniest part is they didn't change their recipe SOOOO.... I don't know if my taste buds have changed a bit or that I know it's healthy and I won't eat regular icecream so I'm settling and making it taste good or WHAT??? But I seriously LOVE IT.

SOME OF MY FAVORITES:

1. Old Fashioned Vanilla-Always a good choice and always a must when mixing a few together.

2. Espresso- Cappuccino is good too, but I found out Espresso has more coffee flavor, it's tasty. If you like Jamoca from 31 flavors, you'll love both of those!

3. St. Patricks Mint- If you like mint ice cream, it's DELICIOUS

4. Peanut Butter- I love to choose like 3 flavors and have this one as a choice.

DEFINITELY GIVE IT A SECOND TRY, YOU MIGHT BE LIKE ME AND LIKE IT!

AND, CHECK OUT THEIR WEBSITE FOR LATEST FLAVORS (They change them weekly and all locations carry special flavors for a few days at different times)

OKAY, SCARY INSANE TRUE STORY: SO I'M WRITING THIS POST AND JUST ATTACHED THE LOGO ON TOP... NO JOKE, ALEXA IS NEXT TO ME AND SAYS "MOMMY, IS THAT ICE CREAM, GOLDEN SPOON?" Yeah, she's obviously seen the logo a lot lately considering I am not saying a word and she is 2 and can't read??? THAT'S INSANE.. OR MAYBE MY DAUGHTER IS A GENIOUS? :)

JUST ONE OF MY BLESSINGS...

I wanted to update and say: THANK YOU so much for all of your Love, Prayers and Support. IT MEANS A LOT TO ME AND MY FAMILY!!!! The phone calls, emails and text messages were very uplifting, encouraging and peaceful, THANK YOU!

Brielyn is doing AWESOME. She had her surgery this morning and it all went really well. The nurses, Dr. and anesthesiologist were extremely nice and helpful.

I also got a chance to talk to a few moms in the recovery room. It was a beautiful moment watching the mothers and their children and just seeing the bond in each one of them. It made me think how each one of us is so different yet we are all created for the same purpose by the same BIG GOD. And, he kept my Brielyn safe. I am so thankful for that.

Her eyes already look better and she should be goop-free FOREVER!

THANK YOU JESUS!!!

What's New With The HOFFS?

It's been quite a while since I've really blogged. I found myself so overwhelmed with what to choose to write that everytime I came on to blog, I'd just close it out. So, since the kids are in bed and it's pretty early considering I've been going to bed at 11 or 12 lately, I figured I'd sum up a bit of everything that I want to share.

1. Oh my gosh, I just asked my husband what the date is today and realized... IT'S BRIELYN'S 9 MOS. BIRTHDAY!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRIE BRIE! WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH.

2. Brielyn now has a total of 7 teeth... and I'm still breastfeeding

3. Bart and Lyndsay had their 15th wedding anniversary and had a vow renewal last weekend. Many beautiful words spoken, it was a precious moment. And.. I have to mention, some of us danced until the DJ kicked us off the floor. Alexa stayed up dancing til 12:30 AM.. she's the one you have to watch! Ask and she'll tell you... "Mommy's fravrite song Low, Low, Low, Low.. Apple Bottom Jeans... boots with the fur.....she hit the flo... "

4. Chris and I are excited about leaving for Las Vegas on July 3rd without kids for 5 days to celebrate Sue Hoff's 50th Birthday. Thanks Mimi in advance for offering to watch the kids. And, thanks Hoff's for inviting us on this special vacation... WE CAN'T WAIT. Pictures to follow

5. My LIFE STYLE CHANGE is going great... to date, I've lost a total of 16 pounds.

6. I've realized that there's 2 things you can't go cheap on... TOILET PAPER AND PAPER TOWELS. The toilet paper I learned when I moved out on my own. My mom always bought the toiletries so I didn't know. Going to the bathroom wasn't as relaxing and became even painful...Once I visited Mom for the first time, WOW what a difference, my mom's toilet paper didn't hurt and it was SOOO SOFT.. I asked my mom and she uses CHARMIN ONLY! I've never bought anything else since. So, we were in need of paper towels and with 2 little ones, we go through them like crazy.. I bought some off brand and let's just say... THEY ARE SO CHEAP THEY DON'T EVEN RIP AT THE PERFORATIONS. So, you end up using twice as much so what's the point???? I was so frustrated til they were gone. BOUNTY ONLY.. I DON'T CARE HOW BROKE WE ARE!

7. Please pray for our Brielyn. She has had a clogged tear duct since birth and it never opened. She's having surgery at Long Beach Memorial on June 20th (Friday) and will be put to sleep. Your prayers are appreciated.

8. We've made a hard decision to search for a new church. IT'S BITTER SWEET. We'll miss many at Revolution. But, Chris and I look forward to continuing our relationships. As well, we look forward to meeting new people and building new friendships. We also look forward to continuing to attend our growing Bible Study on Sundays.

9. HAPPY FATHER'S DAY! (To all that apply.) I'm super thankful for my dad and my father in law. I am very blessed to have a great daddy I look up to him in many ways and super blessed to have the best father in law (that's a bonus) .My children are also BLESSED to have the Best Daddy ever.
10. And I can't leave out that my husband just looked at me and said " I can't wait to get a Hoveround and when we're old we can cruise together." If you don't know what a Hoveround is or you haven't seen the commercial, check them out. For some reason, I CAN WAIT.

May you have sweet sleep and a restful night.

THE DISNEY PRINCESS CASTLE

I talked about this a while ago and never got around to posting pictures, so here they are. Alexa got this castle for her 2nd birthday. Brie is all up in it now! They've been having a lot of fun outside during the beautiful sunny days. Brie crawls all over and goes from the castle to the swimming pool and takes a dip to cool off when she feels like it. I HAVE TO WATCH HER (SHE'S LIKE HER SISTER AND NOT AFRAID OF ANYTHING!!)
